Housing & Meals
Summer Institute attendees staying on campus will be housed in the Heritage Center Residence Halls. Think back to the days of your college experience! Live like your students live! Also, come and stay where the Olympic athletes lived during the 2002 Winter Games.

Attendees will have their own bedroom with a shared bathroom. All the residence halls are air-conditioned and have Wireless Internet Access.

Furnished linens include one pillow, one pillowcase, two sheets, one small blanket, one face cloth, and one small towel per person. Some amenities (shampoo, lotion, etc) are provided. Participants may want to bring additional items for their own comfort. See the “What to Bring” section for additional suggestions for what to pack in your beach bag.

For information on the residence halls, please visit:

Beginning with dinner on Sunday, May 30th, participants will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the University's Heritage Center dining facility. Wednesday afternoon will be a "free afternoon" and dinner will be on your own. Thursday night's dinner will be the Awards Banquet.

Meals are available in the Heritage Center Dining Facility for Sunday during the day or Wednesday evening for a cost. See "Cost" Section of website.

Participants choosing not to stay in the residence halls will be required to make their own reservations elsewhere and cover those costs. The University has an on campus hotel within walking distance of the Summer Institute facilities. For information on the University Guesthouse, go to www.guesthouse.utah.edu. Several other hotels are also located in the downtown Salt Lake City area.
