Lisa Artz, School & Lender Relations Manager from SLFC in Aberdeen is now Lisa Gross. She was married in Jamaica on January 29th to Patrick Gross. She is not only a new bride, but also a new step-mom to Shelden (11), Jorden (7) and Jayden (2).

North Dakota
Laurie Weber, Financial Aid Counselor at Minot State University, and her husband David, have become the proud parents of a new baby! Their son, Logan William was born on Wednesday, January 24th at 4:42 PM. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 3/4" long. Laurie and David have two other boys, Dylan and Preston.

Ann Thorson has resigned her position as the Director of Financial Aid at the University of Mary. Ann has worked for the university for the past six months as Director and nine years as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Ann accepted a position with the North Dakota Worker's Compensation Bureau. She will be starting her new duties in mid-February.

Jeff Jacobs, Director of Financial Aid at Bismarck State College, accepted the role of Co-Chair for the 2002 RMASFAA conference. Jeff replaces Ann Thorson who resigned from the University of Mary.

Colorado
Candee Bergquist joins the Marketing Department for the Colorado Student Loan Program as Marketing Program Assistant. Bergquist has worked the past four-year in the Loan Servicing Department at CSLP, most recently as the Senior Customer Service Representative. In addition to her job responsibilities, Bergquist is an active fund raising volunteer at CSLP, including for Aids Walk Colorado.

Wyoming WSLC regrets that Patty Ramsey, marketing manager, resigned to pursue other interests. She will continue to assist WSLC with special projects on a consulting basis. Sherry Steveson has accepted the responsibility as manager of marketing and client relations. Formerly, Sherry managed the monetary activities unit of customer service along with client relations, and has worked for WSLC for 18 years. Tracie Larson will move from marketing to serve as senior customer service associate in monetary activities. Marketing and client-relations welcomes back Janelle Hoem after her brief stint in customer service.

WSLC is excited about the addition of Linda Loing to its team as a marketing and client-relations associate. As many in RMASFAA know, Linda brings with her 15 years experience in financial aid offices at Colorado State University, the University of Northern Colorado, CU-Boulder and the University of North Dakota. Linda has lived in Cheyenne for 8 months. We're glad she got tired of the commute to Ft. Collins!
