  In the Spotlight:
Sharon Kienow, RMASFAA Treasurer

I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St Peter, MN in 1980 with a BA in Accounting. Right after graduation, I began working at Northern State University, as an accounting clerk in the Business Office. I figured I'd take the job for the summer and find a "better" job in the fall. Twenty-two years later, I'm still at NSU! In that time, I have been the Perkins Loan collector, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, and since 1986, the Director of Financial Aid. In 1999, I added the title of Coordinator of Enrollment Services to my job description.

I am married to Bob and have 2 sons - Tyler, a sophomore at Gustavus (a 3rd generation Gustie!), and Spencer, a 7th grader. We have a golden retriever, Max, who definitely thinks he's one of the guys.

During my "free time", I enjoy following my sons' activities, acting as chauffeur for Spencer and his friends, watching sporting events, reading, and my favorite past time, which is traveling. So far I've made it to 25 ofthe 50 states and my goal is to visit them all.
