Tips of the Month
Avoid telling people you've "been really busy" when reminded that you had promised to do something for them by a certain time. It communicates that you've placed a low priority on their request.
A Phone Tip

If you want to make a good impression on callers, have everyone who transfers a call do it with class and enthusiasm. Instead of saying, "I'm going to transfer you to registration", try this: giving the name of the registrar say, "David Martin is the real expert on that, and he'll be glad to help you. I'll transfer you." Using this approach shows the caller that you have a good team.
