Montana
Judy Chapman, MSU-Billings, has joined our staff as a Financial Aid Specialist. We are so excited to welcome Judy, as she has 13 years of financial aid experience, ten of them as the Financial Aid Director at Rocky Mountain College. And it's fun to hire old friends! Her main duties are counseling students and parents, reviewing files, and coordinating the scholarship program.

Judy took the position vacated by Mary Holden when Mary took a job as Module Team Lead for the Banner system with MSU-Bozeman. Although we were sad to lose Mary, she is just upstairs. (That sounds like she died and went to heaven, doesn't it? And maybe that's how she feels, getting out of financial aid). ;-) Anyway, we are delighted for Mary.

Trudy Carey, MSU-Billings, formerly known as the Loan Arranger in our office, has accepted the position of Acting Director of Disability Support Services on our campus. She started her new job the first week in August and just loves it. She is finally getting a chance to use that new Masters Degree! We are so proud of her for the huge career advancement!

Shelby Gilluly, MSU-Billings, is our new Loan Specialist, replacing Trudy. Shelby has been our "front line" administrative support for the past 6 months, so this will be a smooth and painless transition for us. Of course, Shelby is having a little pain since she is currently trying to keep up with both jobs until we can go through yet ANOTHER search to fill her old position.

Judy Chapman, MSU-Billings, has a new granddaughter. Olivia Grace was born to her son Jeremy and his wife Joniene on August 12. Oh, Gee! was 6lbs., 13 oz. and 19" long - a little one! Congratulations, Judy!

Trudy Carey's mother, Eugenie Zier, passed away on August 22 after being ill for several months. Trudy's mom was from Conrad, MT, but she had been living in Billings with Trudy's family for the past 1 ½ years. Judy is with MSU-Billings.

Tom Stump, MSU-Bozeman, FA Director, and is also the Director of Auxiliary Services at MSU Bozeman.

Brenda Sebastian, MSU-Bozeman, is the new Associate Director. She was the former Director of Financial Aid at MSU-Great Falls College of Technology.

Dacia Blanchard, MSU-Bozeman, scholarship area, left the office for other opportunities.

Jennifer Augustine, MSU-Bozeman, scholarship area, was married and will be moving with her husband to Washington state. Her last day is August 30th.

Heather Lander, MSU-Bozeman, finished her Bachelor's Degree this summer.

Danelle Whitten, MSU-Great Falls of Technology, has been appointed Acting Director of Financial Aid for one year until a full search is completed.

Dana Freshly, MSU-Great Falls of Technology, will be stepping up into Danelle's job for the year as well.
