  Conference 2006
By Kathaleen Recker, Wells Fargo EFS, Publicity Committee Co-chair

Why should you attend the RMASFAA conference
October 8-11 in Salt Lake City, UT?

Here are a few reasons:
  • Reconnect with colleagues and friends from all 8 states in our region.
  • Learn about the latest policies and procedures in our industry—with 40 breakout sessions to choose from and 3 different tracks, there is sure to be something for everyone.
  • Hear from the Department of Education on the latest federal regulations.
  • You sure won’t want to miss our opening session with former NBA Utah Jazz star, Thurl Bailey.
  • Enjoy the convenience of a big metropolitan area—the Sheraton hotel is in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
  • Also enjoy the beauty of two mountain ranges—the Wasatch and the Unitahs surround the city providing endless opportunities for recreation.

And if that’s not enough to get you interested in coming to the RMASFAA conference, here’s a little useless trivia to get you motivated:

Did you know that 50% of the nation’s population is within a 2 ½-hour flight of Salt Lake City, and that the airport is the closest to its city in the entire nation. That means a short, convenient flight for everyone within our region and a short shuttle ride to the host hotel.

We are looking forward to seeing you there. For more information on agenda, hotel and registration, check out www.rmasfaa.org and click on Conference.
