It would only happen in financial aid...
   By Grant Uecker, Mitchell Tech

Here is my funny but true story from my office.

The student's file had not been selected for verification and I was in the process of completing the deed of not having conflicting information on file. So, when I noticed that the parent was quite young, unmarried, and indicated a household size of 9, I suspected either an error or fraudulent
activity. A note was sent to the student asking her to provide documentation of the household size. The very following day, the student came in with 8 children, including 2 sets of twins. She gave me a big smile and asked if this was proof enough. The expression on my face answered that question! I still haven't gotten the taste of my shoe out of my mouth! She completed the two years of school and graduated with high honors!
