Training
Lake Region State College hosted Fall Decentralized Training and
Federal Update Session November 8-9, 2004. Topics focused on student
loan issues.
Minot State University is hosting a Department of Education training
session March 30, 2005. This year’s topic is FSA Workshop
Audits and Program Reviews: Paths for Success.
NDASFAA is sponsoring three board members to the NASFAA Leadership
Conference in Washington DC, March 6-8, 2005. Attending from NDASFAA
are Robin Holden, President, Don Flaherty, President-Elect, and
Kristie Paulson, Secretary.

Join the Financial Aid Castaways at NDASFAA Island!
Minot State University is hosting the 2005 NDASFAA Conference
March 31-April 1, 2005.
A “member’s choice” location has been selected
for the 2006 NDASFAA Conference. The conference will be hosted
by Cankdeska Cikana Community College in Ft. Totten, ND.
Financial Aid Information Sessions
NDASFAA sponsored the second annual “Financial Aid Saturday”
events, hosted by several colleges throughout the state during
the months of January and February. In addition to these “live”
information sessions for students and families, NDSU and UND have
produced web-streamed information sessions which are hosted on
their websites. There is on-going discussion whether to continue
the “live” financial aid sessions or move to web-based
information sessions exclusively.
College Goal Sunday
NDASFAA is also actively discussing the possibility of North Dakota
becoming a host state for College Goal Sunday.
