Writing for the Wyoming Dispatch, Wyoming President Satcee
Hanson reported on Wyoming Happenings and also gave a great re-counting
of RMASFAA Awards. We’ve copied Stacee’s article here
as we didn’t know how to say it any better than she already
has. (We added the pictures.)
Happy Fall! I hope that you are all doing well and that your
academic year is going smoothly. I can’t believe how quickly
the time is going…it will be Spring before we know it!
Just a reminder – the High School Counselor’s Workshop
scheduled for November 9, 2004 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The
topics that will be discussed include national tuition increases,
updates to the 2005-2006 FAFSA, Wyoming scholarships, consortium
agreements, the Wyoming Investment in Nursing loan, Daniels
Funds
Opportunity Awards and student loan issues. This is a wonderful
opportunity to ask questions regarding financial aid and also
dialogue with your colleagues from around the state. It promises
to be an informative session, so I hope that you can attend.
. . . and the award goes to . . .
One of the highlights of the RMASFAA (Rocky Mountain Association
of Student Financial Aid Administrators) annual conference banquet
is the announcement of the recipients of the awards. Every year
those announcing the selections tell us how difficult it is to
choose from the many hard-working people of the organization.
This year was no different --- so many possibilities and so few
awards. However, we think you’ll agree that, once again,
some very deserving people received some very deserving recognition.
The envelope please . . .
