Teena Cooper, Training Committee Chair
Teena worked at Wells Fargo Bank from 1979 to 1999. In 1992 she took over the Student Loan area as Asst. Vice President and Manager. In July of 1999 she accepted her current position as Executive Administrator, School and Lender Relations for the Colorado Servicing Consortium. The Colorado Servicing Consortium is a unique partnership between CSLP Loan Servicing and NELnet Loan Servicing. Teena reports up to Kathy Heinrich, Deputy Director of CSLP and to Joe Bird Vice President of Marketing at NELnet Loan Servicing.
Teena has a B.S. in Business Administration and a MBA with emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Regis University.
She has been active in the Colorado Association of Financial Aid Administrators since 1992 serving on the Board, Diversity committee, Financial Aid Awareness committee and the Professional Development committee. She has also served on RMASFAA's Membership committee, the Training committee - which she currently chairs, the Conference committee and the Summer Institute Committee.
Teena is a Colorado native. She is married with three stepchildren and three grandchildren. She and her husband live in the mountains west of Denver. Her hobbies include snow shoeing and helping to fell trees to insure their property is defendable against wild fire and pine beetle. Teena loves to read and enjoys playing with her Golden Retriever, Archer.
